Great work and really affordable, working within our remodeling budget. Nice family owned business that tackles whatever electrical issue you are dealing with. We needed to update our 1950′s ranch, and it was no problem for the pros and Dickinson’s Electric. Our house is more modern and functional than ever. You won’t be disappointed hiring these folks!

Excellent Service and Expertise From an Electrician

Amazing! An electrician who shows up on time, performs his tasks correctly, and bills a resonable fee for service and parts.
Our experience with electricians has been poor at best. So many seem to be lazy and unreliable …and expensive!
But Dickinsons is different. This is a family owned business that has served (and I do mean SERVED) the Portland area for decades. Their little storefront on Barbur Blvd. is crammed with parts and supplies and has been there since I was a child in the 60′s. Father and now Son are considerate, knowledgeable and affordable.

Great Electrician! I had three bids for an unusual residential job- Dickinson was the most organized, available and helpful of the three. They have been around a long time and know the local inspectors, PGE officials and the like and can make suggestions to save you money. Larry had a real “can-do” attitude that I liked. They are easy to reach on the phone- no callbacks days later. They are great!

By Terry DWhen doing a bathroom remodel our general contractor started taking short cuts. We called Dickinson’s after the electrical inspection found several problems. Larry came out and within a couple of hours had installed a new sub-panel and pulled the required lines through the attic and into the proper locations. The inspector came back expecting to see more problems but could not find anything wrong. I was surprised to see that he did not bad mouth the other contractor or his work as seems to be common with the contractors I have used. He rather just told us what needed to be done, gave us an estimate of how much it would cost and then did the work. He had everything he needed in his truck.
I would not hesitate to use this company again. Its refreshing to see the level of integrity I experienced with Dickinson’s.
